Morrison Design are thrilled to announce the completion of one of the smallest, yet most challenging projects the firm has undertaken. The team successfully transformed an unused, narrow space adjacent to the DoubleTree by Hilton London – Victoria into a luxury duplex suite with a separate meeting room. At the beginning of the project, the A tight squeeze!

Throwback to Brown’s Hotel

This throwback Thursday we’re reflecting on our work with Brown’s Hotel. We’re proud to have project managed several phases of refurbishment for this iconic London hotel, part of the Rocco Forte Hotels group. We began by upgrading the tea lounge and eight guest bedrooms, designed by the hotel’s own team. The project then expanded to Throwback to Brown’s Hotel

Flashback to the Mornington Kensington Hotel project

We’re proud to reflect on one of our standout projects from last year – the creation of the new Mornington Kensington Hotel in Earls Court, Central London. This transformation was one that combined vision and expertise to bring new life to a pair of buildings, previously home to a 2* and a 3* hotel. Historic Chelsea member’s club refurbishment

Thanks to Les Witten for these fantastic progress pics from our Sloane Club project. Morrison Design are the appointed architects for an extensive refurbishment of the private member’s club in Chelsea, London. We have completed the refurbishment of over half of the 56 bedrooms and 7 suites across three floors with a further two floors Historic Chelsea member’s club refurbishment

Charity of the Year 2025

Morrison Design are delighted to announce that we’re partnering with local charity Ben’s Den as our Charity of the Year for 2025.  Ben’s Den are based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire and provide free caravan holidays for families with children diagnosed with cancer and leukaemia, allowing them to spend quality family time together. We have lots of Charity of the Year 2025

Point A Liberties nearing completion

The signage is going up at our new build Point A Hotels project which can only mean one thing – we’re close to completion! Morrison Design are the appointed architects for the 95-bedroom hotel is in the Liberties area of Dublin and encompasses guest bedrooms, reception, breakfast lounge and bar. The hotel follows the successful Point A Liberties nearing completion

Sustainability Lunch & Learn

The Morrison Design team enjoyed a wonderful sustainability lunch and learn session today. The team were challenged to contribute to a sustainable fuddle, bringing in British (and Derbyshire) produce including lots of plastic free items. We enjoyed locally made breads and cheeses as well as some delicious homemade treats.  During the session we learnt more Sustainability Lunch & Learn

Future Mobility Zone

Thanks to Michael Clarke who took some fantastic photos of the Future Mobility Zone on his recent site visit. The project involves a sustainable travel zone based at the University of Derby’s Kedleston Road site – with Morrison Design as the appointed architects. The hub, a partnership between Derby City Council and the University of Future Mobility Zone

2024 Fundraising Success

The Morrison Design team are proud to announce that we raised £2,442 for Alzheimer’s Society in 2024. The charity was chosen as our Charity of the Year by the team who have gone over and above to raise vital funds. 🚴 John Robson, Senior Architectural Technician, was our stand out fundraiser, raising £1,136 from cycling 2024 Fundraising Success
