
Morrison Design are finalists in three categories of the Building Design Architect of the Year awards next week.
We’re delighted to be shortlisted in the Retail & Leisure, Higher Education and Net Zero categories.
In the Retail & Leisure Architect of the Year category we feature Point A Parnell Street in Dublin, a 141 bedroom new-build hotel in central Dublin which opened its doors in 2021. We’ve recently completed a 2 storey, 33 bedroom roof extension to increase capacity.

Also featured were the Mornington Kensington, a new 100 bedroom 4* hotel in central London, created from two separate buildings, and St. Regis London, The Westbury, a 15,217m² luxury 5* hotel in Mayfair.
The Higher Education Architect of the Year category showcases a host of projects for The University of Derby; Harpur’s Bistro, a new training restaurant at Buxton & Leek College, Nuclear Skills Academy at the iHub, Superlab and Sustainable Mobility Zones.

And finally, the Net Zero Architect of the Year category featured Lubrizol Conference Centre, a high-tech , sustainable conference facility in Derbyshire, St. Regis London, The Westbury and Sustainable Mobility Zones.

Award winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 16th October 2024.
