We’re extremely excited to announce that Morrison Design have been shortlisted for the Architect of the Year awards.
For the third year running we’re finalists in the Retail and Leisure Architect of the Year category – a testament to the incredible work of our team.
Our submission featured a selection of four hotel projects in London and Dublin.

The Sloane Club in Chelsea, London is undergoing a full refurbishment of all guest bedrooms and suites, reconfiguration and redesign of reception, lounges, bars, and dining areas, creation of a new rooftop terrace with an all-season enclosure and comprehensive services upgrades throughout the building. Morrison Design are the appointed Architects with the project set to complete late Summer 2025.

We completed the Mornington Kensington Hotel in summer 2023 – a challenging project bringing together what was two separate 2* and 3* hotels into one new 4* hotel. The new, elevated space contains 100+ guest bedrooms, a new lobby, reception area and breakfast room.

Morrison Design created a new front of house space for The Trafalgar St. James London, Curio Collection by Hilton for which we were the appointed Architects, Project Managers, Principal Designer and Contract Administrator. The 5* hotel project marked the first phase of a broader redevelopment plan that includes the creation of additional guest rooms. A standout feature of the redesign is the thoughtful integration of accessibility through an innovative step/lift solution, subtly incorporated into the layout to promote inclusivity without compromising aesthetic integrity.

The Point A Liberties in Dublin is a 95-bedroom new build hotel for which Morrison Design are the appointed architects. The hotel encompasses guest bedrooms, reception, breakfast lounge and bar and is set to complete in Summer 2025.
The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in October.
