We’re extremely excited to announce that Morrison Design have won the People Development award in the Constructing Excellence awards East Midlands.
The award recognises organisations that appreciate and nurture their workforce to ensure they maximise the value of everyone’s contribution to the business.
Nik Clarke, Director at Morrison Design, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have won the People Development award. It’s part of our ethos to inspire and develop our people and the happiness of our team is critical to us. We’re pleased to have less than 5% employee turnover rate which demonstrates our commitment.”
Morrison Design has a long history of truly valuing our people and this year we’ve introduced numerous new initiatives including several workstreams: Diversity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Mental Wellbeing, Sustainability and Charity. The workstreams have been set up to explore how we can continue to evolve our business and better support our team.
We’re proud that we were also finalists in two other categories: SME of the Year and Future Leader for Architectural Assistant Sophie Cantrill.
Nik said: “There was such a high calibre or entries in each of the categories this year and we want to take the time to congratulate all those who won and were shortlisted for an award. I’d also like to congratulate Sophie who was shortlisted for the Future Leader award. She’s early in her career yet we can already see that she’s going to go far – a true winner in our eyes.”
