Cerys Graham, Architectural Technologist at Morrison Design, has been shortlisted for an exciting East Midlands award.
Cerys is a finalist for the ‘Rising Star’ category of East Midlands Chamber’s Generation Next Awards 2023. The awards celebrate the achievements of young professionals and business leaders aged under 35 across the region.
Cerys joined the Morrison Design team in August 2021 as Trainee Architectural Technologist, supporting the team on the St. Regis London, The Westbury project alongside her university degree.
It’s a large and complex project for the most experienced team, never mind someone early in their career. Cerys has not just supported the Morrison Design team on the project but has taken extra responsibility and become an integral member of the team. We couldn’t be more proud of everything she’s achieved so far and will continue to achieve as she progresses.

The winner will be crowned at an awards ceremony on 13th July at Bustler Market in Derby.
I’m so excited to have made the shortlist and am really looking forward to attending the awards event in July. It would be the ultimate privilege if the award inspired even one female to consider a career in architecture.
