🐾 The studio’s four-legged visitor programme continues…

Nala the fox red labrador sat on the wooden floor in the studio looking at the camera with the meeting room in the background.

This week we welcomed Nala to the studio 🐾 Between making the rounds for fuss, checking in on the team and ensuring everyone took a well-earned break, Nala proved she’s a natural at boosting office morale. 🐶💚 We’re beginning to think our productivity might have less to do with coffee and more to do with 🐾 The studio’s four-legged visitor programme continues…

Fresh air, good company and getting some steps in

Les, Sophie and James strolling through the park, away from the camera. They're on a wide path with grass and trees on both sides.

Last week, the Morrison Design Team headed out for a wellbeing walk through Darley Park, which we’re lucky enough to have right next to our studio. The walk was organised by Les Witten, Associate Director and Mental Health First Aider, as part of our Mental Wellbeing workstream. It was a great opportunity to get outside, Fresh air, good company and getting some steps in

Coffee & Curiosity: My Daily Routine with Sunny Kochchat, Architectural Technologist

Sunny standing outside in front of a red brick wall. He’s wearing a short-sleeved sage green shirt and smiling while looking to the right of the camera.

My day begins at 8am, gently and without rush. The first thing I do is make myself a coffee and sit by the window, a quiet moment to wake up properly before the day starts. After that, if it is nice weather, I cycle to work along the River Derwent. If not, I take a Coffee & Curiosity: My Daily Routine with Sunny Kochchat, Architectural Technologist

Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 🌿

Photo of the Morrison Design studio. The signage on the glass partition reads 'We're creative. We're honest. We're passionate. We're a team."

The weather may have changed our plans, but it didn’t stop us taking some time out together. Instead of our planned outdoor picnic, the team gathered in the studio kitchen for a relaxed lunch and catch-up. It was a chance to step away from our screens, slow down for a moment, reconnect and check in Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 🌿

Happy Easter from Morrison Design

Picture of John with a cup filled with Easter Eggs

The Easter Bunny came early to the Morrison Design studio this week. We were very lucky that they hid plenty of eggs for us to find – some of us were better at hunting them down than others! We’d like to wish all our clients and contacts a wonderful Easter break.
