We’re delighted to be welcoming three wonderful young people to complete their work experience at Morrison Design this month.
This week we’ve had Charlie Gardner from Trent College in Nottingham. Charlie’s been busy supporting on site visits and is working on some old plans, replicating them using our software (no chance of just making cups of tea here!).
Charlie said: “I’ve always found architecture quite interesting – my Grandad is a structural engineer. It’s great to have an insight into what it’s really like.”
Morrison Design have a long history of inspiring and nurturing young people into architecture. David Gardner, Director at Morrison Design, said: “Myself and the other Directors all started here as apprentices – it’s always been an important part of the culture to bring young people into the team. We were all immensely grateful to be given opportunities at the start of our careers and it’s brilliant to welcome work experience students into our new studio.”
We look forward to welcoming Hugo from Ecclesbourne School in Duffield and Brody from The Becket School in Nottingham over the next couple of weeks.
