Cerys Graham, our Trainee Architectural Technologist, has won an award in her degree show at the University of Derby.
Cerys collected the Environmental Response award for creating a co-working space with an emphasis on health and wellbeing.
The plans included the usual meeting and desk spaces but also contained a yoga and relaxation room and an outdoor sensory garden. Cerys used biophilic design (the way in which architects incorporate nature into building spaces to contribute to the health and well-being of occupants) to create the space.
Alternative design methods were utilised and there was a focus on the use of sustainable materials.
Cerys, a huge congratulations from all of your Morrison Design family – keep smashing it!
