Morrison Design are proud to be the appointed Architects for a new ‘super lab’ for the University of Derby’s Biomedical Science students. The laboratory will be located at the University’s Kedleston Road site and will revolutionise the University’s student offer, creating an innovative, inspiring and interdisciplinary teaching facility focusing on core elements of Biomedical Science.
“The space was previously functioning as office space for administration and student services purposes. The scheme will convert the whole ground floor into an education super lab together with supporting spaces. The project follows the successful completion of several projects for the university over the last couple of years, including University of Derby Molecular Biology Laboratory, The Facility for Omics Research in Metabolism (FORM) and the Performance Analysis Suite.
