Morrison Design complete primary school project

A modern, single-story brick building with large windows and a bright blue door, surrounded by a paved walkway under a partly cloudy sky.

We’re delighted to complete an extension project for Cofton Primary School in Birmingham.

The scheme includes two new classrooms for SEN and general use, both with accompanying intervention rooms to support the learning, emotional and social development of pupils with SEN. There are an additional two intervention rooms to support existing classrooms and new storage and toilet facilities.

Morrison Design were the appointed architects for the project which also saw a modular classroom relocated to the site, providing temporary teaching space during the construction of the new extension.

John Robson, Architectural Technician at Morrison Design, said: “We’re excited to see the finished result at Cofton Primary School – we know how much difference this new space will make to the children and staff at the school.”

Many thanks to James, John and Dale who have worked hard on this project.

We’ve collaborated with Seddon (contractor), Cundall (structural engineer) and Gilks (M+E).
