Hotel construction is booming with a pipeline of projects worth £2.5 billion according to Glenigan’s construction industry intelligence.

The study found 352 hotel construction projects across the UK with London dominating the market. The report also predicts a rise of 25% in hotel and leisure construction projects this year followed by an increase of 17% next year.

Morrison Design, specialists in hotel architecture and project management, have anticipated this news with an upsurge in their own hotel projects. The company are currently involved in hotel and hospitality projects across the UK – primarily in London but also in the East Midlands and Republic of Ireland.

Nik Clarke, Director at Morrison Design, said: “We’ve seen an incredible increase in hotel project enquiries here at Morrison Design. This is partly due to the market conditions as the Glenigan’s report has shown, but also a further recognition of the hard work and incredible reputation the team have built in the sector. We have numerous repeat clients which is a testament to the quality and expertise we provide, as well as the solid relationships we build with our clients.”

“We’re delighted to soon be expanding our team to meet the demand of new projects coming into the business and continue to deliver the quality service which we have become known for. If you’re looking for your next Architect role and enjoy working in a modern, flexible culture with a great bunch of people, get in touch.”
