Morrison Design celebrate Black History Month

Continuing Morrison Design’s commitment to fostering an inclusive working environment, we were delighted to celebrate Black History Month with the team this week.

Sef brought some delicious Caribbean dumplings and a homemade Jamaican spiced bun for the team to enjoy alongside an engaging discussion and an (extremely competitive!) quiz.

A photo of the Jamaican spiced bun – a brown cake in the shape of a loaf – sat on the wooden conference room table.

Congratulations to Sef, James and Nik who were on the winning team and chose to play Three Little Birds by Bob Marley and The Wailers as their celebratory song.

This year’s Black History Month theme is “Honouring Our Communities” and Sef has produced a wonderful display about the many people in our local community who do inspiring work.

At Morrison Design, we’re committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace. Throughout the year, we host team awareness events and activities, alongside our commitment as a signatory to the RIBA Inclusion Charter.
