Morrison Design are continuing the guest bedroom refurbishment of Browns Hotel in Mayfair, London (owned by the prestigious Rocco Forte Hotels group). The team are the appointed project managers for the upgrades which follow the recently completed renovation of the tea lounge and guest bedrooms – designed by the hotel’s acclaimed design team. Morrison Design project nearing completion – University of Derby Molecular Biology Laboratory.

Morrison Design, appointed architects, are nearing completion on a new laboratory refurbishment for University of Derby. The Molecular Biology teaching laboratories project involves the refurbishment of two existing labs which are to be upgraded in line with the Universities requirements for ‘Clinical Laboratory Standards for IBMS.’ (Institute of Biomedical Science). Marie Curie Brain Game.

Nik Clarke, Director at Morrison Design, was delighted to be invited along to the West Midlands Marie Curie Brain Game last night. The black-tie event, hosted at The ICC in Birmingham raised vital funds for Marie Curie. It included a quiz, hosted by Jaki Graham and Steve Clamp, and the opportunity to bid on an Marie Curie Brain Game.

CPR Training with British Heart Foundation for Morrison Design.

Paula Scaife, BHF Fundraising Manager, and volunteer, Alan Thompson, joined the team at our studio last week to teach us lifesaving CPR. Alan suffered a cardiac arrest whilst cycling with his brother along a rural Derbyshire lane. It was only thanks to the quick response of five people he had never met before that Alan CPR Training with British Heart Foundation for Morrison Design.

Partial Handover complete for Morrison Design project: “world’s largest” vertical farm.

Morrison Design have completed a partial handover of their vertical farm project for client Fischer Farms. The practice are the appointed architects and principal designer on what is set to be the World’s largest vertical farm in Norfolk. Morrison Design to transform iHub Derby.

Morrison Design are the appointed architects for a new project to transform the iHub in Derby into a state-of-the-art nuclear skills academy. The project is a collaboration between Rolls-Royce and The University of Derby – remodeling the building to welcome the next generation of apprentice Rolls-Royce engineers. The 45,000 ft2 building, which opened in 2016, Morrison Design to transform iHub Derby.
