We’re incredibly proud of Sophie Cantrill, Architectural Assistant at Morrison Design, who is training hard for her first-ever marathon this October in support of our Charity of the Year, Ben’s Den.
Sophie shared:
“I’ve always enjoyed running, but this will be my first full marathon, so it’s a huge challenge for me. I recently completed a half marathon as part of my training, and it really brought home how tough the full distance will be. I’ve got a solid plan in place and I’m feeling as confident as I can be!”
Ben’s Den is a wonderful children’s charity based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. It was founded in memory of Ben Parker, who sadly passed away in 2003 after battling leukaemia. The charity provides free holidays for families of children fighting cancer or leukaemia, giving them a much-needed break from hospital life and the chance to spend quality time together.
📅 Race Day: Sunday 19th October
📍 Location: York
