Swim, cycle, step and trek for charity

The Morrison Design team are set to swim, cycle, step and trek their way to fundraising this summer, in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.

The team will take part in the Swim for Dementia event in May, with two team members swimming a total of 15 miles over the month. In June we will Cycle for Dementia, with six team members covering over 1,000 miles in 30 days. Not forgetting John’s epic 2024 miles in 2024!

Finally, in July, August and September the team will take part in Step up for Dementia – with ten team members covering 9 million steps between them! The challenge calls for participants to complete 10,000 steps a day for 30 days. The Morrison Design team are going one (or 600,000!) better by completing 900,000 steps over 3 months, representing the 900,000+ people in the UK currently living with dementia.

August will also see the team take on Trek26 – a challenging trek through the Peak District, covering 13 or 26 miles in one day. That’s a combined total of 260 miles from the Morrison Design team in less than 12 hours!

The team are determined to challenge themselves with these events and raise as much money as possible for Alzheimer’s Society – our charity of the year for 2024.
