Morrison Design are proud to announce the completion of phase one of the St Regis London, The Westbury project for which we were the appointed Architects and Principal Designer.

The project involves a major refurbishment and extension to the building which opened in 1955 as the first five-star American hotel in the capital. The 15,217m² project will house 196 rooms including several luxury suites, an elegant presidential suite and the high-end Polo Bar.

Morrison Design were integral in the delivery of extensive upgrades to the building including adding a second basement level, external façade, rear extension, addition of a 9th floor extension, cut outs to the front elevation and new curtain walling.

Peter Newman Earp, Director at Morrison Design, said: “The project has been extremely complex and our team have worked tirelessly over the past three years. We’d like to personally extend our gratitude to all involved, especially James Parratt and Dean Wain.”

Morrison Design are working with Ramboll (structural engineers), Sir Robert McAlpine (contractor), Virtus Consult (quantity surveyors) and Richmond International (interior designers).
