Morrison Design was appointed as Architect for a key extension project at Cofton Primary School in Birmingham, aimed at enhancing the learning environment for all pupils, with a particular focus on supporting those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The scheme delivered two new classrooms – designed for both general and SEN use – each accompanied by dedicated intervention rooms to support pupils’ learning, emotional and social development. In addition, the project provides two further intervention spaces to support existing classrooms, as well as new storage and toilet facilities.
As part of the overall programme, a modular classroom was also relocated to the site, ensuring uninterrupted teaching provision throughout the construction period.
”We’re excited to see the finished result at Cofton Primary School. We know how much of a positive impact this new space will have on both the pupils and staff.”
John Robson, Architectural Technician at Morrison Design
