Morrison Design progress at St. Regis London, The Westbury.

Project Manager James Parratt took some fantastic pictures of our St. Regis London, The Westbury project at a recent site visit.

Located off Bond Street, The Westbury first opened in 1955 as the first five-star American hotel in the capital and today is undergoing a major refurbishment and extension, led by Morrison Design who are the appointed architects and project managers.

Space for lifts and stairs

Our client, Cola Holdings Ltd, aims to reposition St. Regis London, The Westbury as the destination 5* hotel in Mayfair.

The London skyline

The 15,217m² project will see a second level basement floor being added and will house 196 rooms including several luxury suites, an elegant presidential suite and the high-end Polo Bar. The refurbishment will continue to attract affluent travellers looking for a central London base with sumptuous surroundings.

Existing concrete structure and temporary bracing

Morrison Design are working with Ramboll (structural engineers), Furness Green (mechanical and electrical engineers) and Richmond International (interior designers).
