We know that people working in the construction industry are more likely to experience poor mental health. So we do everything we can to support our team at Morrison Design.
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week so we’ve created a display with tips on how to look after your mental wellbeing at work, adding a gratitude wall where the team can share what they’re grateful for in their lives.
We’re hoping for the sunshine to reappear on Friday as we’ve planned a team fuddle in Darley Park, right next to our studio in Darley Abbey Mills.
We have three Mental Health First Aiders at Morrison Design and the rest of our team have received training in Mental Health Awareness and Stress Management.
Getting exercise, taking breaks and making connections all contribute to our wellbeing, so we do regular activities such as Wednesday Walks, regular socials and Cuppa and Chat every Monday morning.
And, of course, we have support in place should our team ever need it.
