Late last month, Suzanne one of our trainees, attended the Peak Awards Ceremony hosted by Derby College. In light of her performance over the last year she was awarded construction learner of the year as well as overall learner of the year. A fantastic performance by Suzanne and her distinction star results at college have secured her a place at Lincoln University where she will go on to study her Part 1 Architecture degree.
Tommy has worked at the practice for 6 years now, and has forged his own part-time study path through his Bachelor of Technology at Derby College and onto his Bachelor of Science at the University of Derby. Upon completion of his final project, he exhibited his work at the end of year degree show, where he was awarded best-in-show outstanding achievement, shortlisted for the Dean Award for Art and Design and received the midlands regional award for outstanding graduating student from the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT). Tommy graduated earlier this month with a First Class Honours degree in Architectural Technology and Practice. He now aims to get chartered within the institute to receive professional recognition of his abilities.
