Trainee architectural technician Suzanne Butler returned to Derby College recently to talk to students who are currently studying Professional Construction courses about a career as an architect and how they can develop their CV.

Derby College plans to launch the new Professional Construction T-level curriculum in September 2020 and the event was organised through the college’s Professional Construction Employment and Skills Academy which brings together employers and teaching staff to co-design and co-deliver the college curriculum.

Commenting on the day Suzanne said, “It was great to be able to return to the College and provide insight on my experiences in order to help students understand what a career in an architecture can offer. I really enjoyed speaking to the students and talking to them about the different aspects of my role and how we design and project manage construction projects for our clients.”
