August was an action packed month for John with another 190 miles in the bag and the epic Raleigh Chopper commute completed – all part of his mammoth 2,040 mile challenge in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.
John said: “Well I guess the end of August brings the end of summer. I enjoyed the weather for those few weeks, and was even tempted to take the bike off-road, although that turned into its own challenge (see pic above). It was beautiful for the most part! And now the anticipation for the chopper challenge is in the past, I’d just like to say a huge thank you again for the nice messages and support towards the fundraising. The chopper has pride of place in the office.”
August also saw John reach his £1,000 fundraising target – a huge congratulations on this amazing achievement.
