Job Title: Architectural Assistant
When did you join Morrison Design? February 2023
How did you get into architecture?
It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was 11 years old. I’ve always had an interest in making, creating and designing. Architects are sometimes referred to as the ‘Master of Design’ so why not reach for the stars. I’m currently Part 2 qualified and begin my part 3 studies in September this year. I believe this will open new avenues for me and I’m excited to learn more about the leadership side of the role. I’ve worked closely with my manager Cinzia and Director Nik and aspire to have a role like that in the future.
What are you currently working on?
I’m working with Nik, Cinzia and Jordan on the Trafalgar Hotel project – it includes rooftop, basement and ground floor works. It’s one of my first Hotels & Hospitality projects and I’m really enjoying how it covers so much – the standards are very high and everything has to be just perfect.
Which project are you most proud of?
I’m really enjoying the Trafalgar project due to its sheer magnitude. Previously I’ve relished taking a leading role in a couple of residential projects which I’ve seen through all the work stages. I found that very fulfilling.
What do you love most about your job?
Creative responsibility. I love being able to have an influence on the projects and their designs and I really enjoy the accountability involved in taking a leading role.
What’s it like to work at Morrison Design?
Stress-free! The flexibility and trust we have here are fantastic – I can take control of the best working pattern for me which I’m so grateful for. It’s a relaxing work environment – everyone, including the Directors, are quite laid back and accommodating.
Why should clients choose to work with Morrison Design?
We have an extensive portfolio and a great studio. We have brilliant attention to detail and our standards are high. One of the main things though is our ability to move with the times – our Directors are always open to new technologies and ways of working which our clients value.
And just for fun…

Favourite brand: Bershka -fashionable, affordable and great quality.
Something you dislike: Coriander – it tastes like soap to me!
