Chesterfield Fire Station

Development to create a new fire station for Chesterfield providing a base for four fire appliances and support units, together with welfare facilities for whole-time and retained fire fighters, an area office, facilities for specialist training and a self-contained suite of rooms for use by the local community. The building also features rainwater harvesting to provide water for training exercises, solar panels and photovoltaic arrays.

Initially appointed to prepare outline and detail designs to obtain planning permission, Morrison Design Ltd were subsequently novated to Baggaley Construction Ltd, the design and build contractor for the development.
